Founder

Studio Mac was founded by Ailsa MacConnell, a designer with a true passion for creating interiors that are both timeless and playful. Growing up in the Lake District, Ailsa was surrounded by the region’s natural beauty, this environment nurtured her deep appreciation for the harmonious balance between nature and design, which continues to influence her work today.

With years of experience working in both London and Edinburgh, Ailsa has developed a distinctive approach to design, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to every project. Her talent for working with colour lies at the heart of her designs, infusing spaces with personality and energy, while maintaining a sense of elegance and harmony.
